Polenta

Yield: 10 servings Prep Time: 5 min Cook Time: 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 2 L water
  • 500 g Polenta
  • salt
  • butter
  • Parmigiano Reggiano

Procedure

  1. Heat water on high until it starts to simmer in dutch oven
  2. Add salt
  3. Whisk in polenta
  4. Continue whisking until it starts to bubble
  5. Reduce heat to low
  6. Stir constantly until it is very thick. (Will probably need to raise heat to medium.)
  7. Add butter and finely grated Parmigiano
  8. Salt to taste
